WorldPulse is a real-time global intelligence platform that plots live events on an interactive world map. It tracks 8 event categories: Earthquakes (USGS), Wildfires (NASA EONET), Floods (GDACS), Volcanoes, Storms, Armed Conflicts, Civil Unrest, and Breaking News (BBC). Free users get full access to all natural disaster categories. Conflicts and Unrest require a WorldPulse Pro subscription.

WorldPulse Pro unlocks the full intelligence suite: real-time conflict zone and military activity mapping, social unrest and protest monitoring, advanced UN/ReliefWeb humanitarian intelligence reports, and priority alerts for critical global events. Free users retain complete access to all natural disaster categories — earthquakes, wildfires, floods, volcanoes, storms, and breaking news.

Subscriptions are managed entirely through the Apple App Store. To cancel:

iOS: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → WorldPulse → Cancel Subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not process refunds directly — for refund requests, please contact Apple Support.

Open WorldPulse and navigate to the subscription / paywall screen. Tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used when you originally subscribed. Your Pro access will be restored instantly at no charge.

No. WorldPulse does not collect or transmit your GPS location. The live map displays global events using fixed geographic coordinates sourced from our data providers (USGS, NASA, GDACS, etc.). Your personal location is never required, requested, or stored.

WorldPulse can send push notifications for critical global events. You can control notification permissions in your device Settings → Notifications → WorldPulse. Pro subscribers receive priority alerts for high-severity events across all 8 categories. You can also configure minimum earthquake magnitude thresholds and category filters within the app.

Try the following steps:

1. Check your internet connection — WorldPulse requires an active connection to fetch live data.
2. Force-quit and relaunch the app.
3. Check data source status — occasionally USGS, NASA EONET, or GDACS APIs experience downtime. These are outside our control.
4. Update the app to the latest version via the App Store.

We collect minimal data: a device identifier and subscription status via RevenueCat (to manage your Pro subscription), anonymized app usage data (e.g., which categories you browse), and crash/performance diagnostics. Email us at worldpulseapp@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request within 30 days. Note that some data may need to be retained for legal compliance purposes (e.g., transaction records held by Apple/RevenueCat per their policies).

Use the filter panel within the app to toggle event categories on/off, set a minimum earthquake magnitude threshold (e.g., only show M5.0+), and build your personalized global intelligence feed. All preferences save automatically and persist between sessions.
