Simply open PetCam, select a sound from the library (or your custom sounds), then tap the sound button. Your camera remains ready to shoot — tap the shutter button at exactly the right moment when your pet looks at the lens.

Go to the Custom Sounds section in the app and tap the record button. Hold your phone near the sound source (a squeaky toy, whistle, or any sound your pet reacts to) and record. Your custom sound will be saved in the app and available instantly for future sessions. Custom sounds are stored locally on your device and never uploaded to our servers.

All photos and videos captured with PetCam are saved directly to your device's Camera Roll / Photos library. PetCam does not upload, access, or store your media on any external server.

Camera access is required to take pet photos and record videos. Microphone access is required only to record your own custom sounds within the app. These permissions are used exclusively for core app functionality. You can revoke either permission at any time in Settings → Privacy → Camera / Microphone on your iPhone.

PetCam Pro unlocks the full sounds library, unlimited custom sound recordings, and additional premium features. You can subscribe directly inside the app — all payments are processed securely through the Apple App Store. We never have access to your payment card or billing details.

Since subscriptions are managed by Apple, you can cancel at any time through your iPhone's Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Select PetCam Pro and tap Cancel Subscription. Your Pro access remains active until the end of the current billing period.

First, try tapping the Restore Purchases button inside the app (usually found in the subscription or settings screen). This re-syncs your purchase with the App Store. If the issue persists after restoring, please contact us at support@vaykr.qzz.io and we'll get it sorted quickly.

Please email us at support@vaykr.qzz.io with a brief description of the issue, your iPhone model, and your iOS version. This helps us identify and fix the problem as quickly as possible. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

Absolutely! PetCam's sound library includes squeaky toys, dog barks, bird chirps, whistles, and more — designed to work for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and most other pets. Every pet is different, so experiment with different sounds to find what grabs your pet's attention best.

You can request deletion of any personal data associated with your account (e.g., subscription records managed by RevenueCat) by emailing us at support@vaykr.qzz.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request within 30 days.

Tips for the Perfect Pet Photo

Hold your phone at your pet's eye level for more engaging portraits.
Use the sounds library to make your pet snap their head toward the lens — then shoot instantly.
Good natural light (near a window) makes a huge difference in photo quality.
Record your pet's favourite toy squeak as a custom sound for the most reliable reaction.
Use burst mode (hold the shutter) for active pets to capture the perfect frame.
Save your best shots to Favourites inside PetCam to keep them organized.
