This privacy notice for GeoMind — 3D Geology & Terrain Analysis ("we," "us," or "our") explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. GeoMind is a professional-grade geological mapping, terrain visualization, and field data collection platform designed for geologists, mining engineers, earth science researchers, surveyors, and geoscience professionals.

⛏ All geological field data you create — outcrop logs, strike/dip measurements, structural records, stratigraphic columns, and annotated maps — are saved DIRECTLY to your device. We do NOT upload, access, or store your field data on our servers.
🏔 All 3D terrain rendering, rock and mineral identification, clinometer measurements, and report generation are processed ENTIRELY ON YOUR DEVICE. No geological data or imagery is transmitted to external servers during analysis.
GeoMind may request access to your device's camera and photo library to allow you to capture outcrop photographs and attach them to field logs. These permissions are used exclusively for core field documentation functionality. You may revoke them at any time in your device Settings. Photos are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
GeoMind may use your device GPS to geotag your field observations (outcrop locations, structural measurements, sample points) at your explicit request when logging data. This location data is stored only within your local field project files on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or retain your location data on our servers.
All payments are processed directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not have access to your payment card details, bank information, or billing address. RevenueCat receives only confirmation of your subscription status.

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by applicable law. Subscription records managed by RevenueCat are retained in accordance with their data retention policy. Anonymized usage and crash diagnostic data may be retained for up to 12 months. We do not retain any field data, geological records, or personal location data on our servers.
We implement industry-standard security practices including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), strict access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely immune to security risks and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of transmitted data.
GeoMind is a professional application not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided personal data through the application, please contact us immediately and we will take prompt steps to delete such information.

To request deletion of your personal data, please contact us at the email address below with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request within 30 days. Note that certain data may need to be retained for legal compliance purposes, including transaction records held by Apple and RevenueCat per their own policies.
The GeoMind mobile application does not use browser cookies. Standard mobile identifiers (Device ID) are used solely for subscription management as described above. We do not use cross-app tracking technologies, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or any behavioral profiling mechanisms.
As GeoMind does not engage in cross-site or cross-app tracking, Do-Not-Track signals are not applicable to our services.
If you are a US resident, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. We do not sell personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or similar applicable state privacy laws.
